Tamara Wielend

Physiotherapist
Instructor at the School for Visceral Therapy

Tamara Wielend was born in 1982 in St. Pölten. She lives with her family in Lengau and works in Attnang - Puchheim as a freelance physiotherapist in her own group practice. She also works as a mobile physiotherapist in the area around her home.

Training

She graduated from the Academy for Physiotherapy in St. Pölten in 2003 and then worked at the University Hospital St. Pölten (focus on ortho/trauma).

In 2007, love moved her to Upper Austria, where she worked as a freelance physiotherapist in a group practice. In 2010, together with her husband, she founded the "Therapie- und Trainingszentrum Puchheim", whose team has now grown to 10 people.

Soon after receiving her diploma, Tamara began to further her professional development in additional trainings. Before the Maitland training, she completed courses in APM, Tuina and lumbar stabilization. This was followed by training as a Nordic Walking Instructor and K-Taping Pro and Gyn. In 2007 she started to work with Cranio-Sacral-Therapy and later with the concept of Visceral Manipulation. Already at this time the passion for this treatment concept was ignited. With the founding of the School of Visceral Therapy, she began as a course assistant and continued her intensive study of Visceral Treatment Techniques.

Her enthusiasm for this concept continues unabated and forms the basis for her teaching activities.

Philosophy

For Tamara Wielend, visceral therapy is not just one treatment concept among many, but a completely new therapeutic approach that makes it possible to act on the musculoskeletal system through a different approach. Knowledge of the anatomical connections opens up a new perspective on the multifaceted interactions that make up our bodies. Therefore, it is of great concern to her to pass on the knowledge and experience gained from many years of working with patients and successfully applying visceral treatment techniques.
